For those of you that don't know, RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It has 4 functions (standard). Input, write, read, and output. To input without toggling the memory cell, I used a BUD switch (Block Update Detector). I used a "Powered Rail" to update the BUD switch therefore leading a signal upwards to the output. For the controlled output or "Read", I used a solid block that will saturate the signal into the block, and pass it on to the output. This blog showcases the uses of Redstone in Minecraft. For those of you who don't know, Redstone is basically "wire" that you can use to build anything you desire. For example, a calculator, a secret door, complex circuits, self building houses, rock paper scissors, and many more things.
